As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic retail location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. This is an armed and driving post, which means you will be equipped and authorized to carry out your duties as an armed professional and will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol activities. You will interact with customers, staff, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Thur 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 15 PM

Sun 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 15 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe for unusual activity
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other incidents
  • Document incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with requirements
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed
  • Maintain a visible presence while patrolling to provide reassurance

  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • You must be at least 21 years of age
  • Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required
  • A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
