The Assistant Vice President of Quality provides strategic leadership and oversight for quality, patient safety, infection prevention and control, regulatory readiness, and performance improvement initiatives across Ochsner Children’s sites of care, including pediatric acute care, pediatric and neonatal intensive care units, and pediatric ambulatory clinics. Collaborates closely with senior leadership, medical staff, and operational leaders to implement effective quality and safety practices that improve clinical outcomes, patient experience, and family-centered care. Responsible for maintaining contemporary and emerging knowledge of evidence-based, best practices for children’s quality and patient safety, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices, accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and leading initiatives aligned with national pediatric quality collaboratives and benchmarking standards.
