The Role : Talent Acquisition Specialist

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding across the organization. You’ll connect talented individuals with long-term career opportunities, support hiring managers, and help shape Granger’s workforce strategy. This role also supports broader HR initiatives, including workforce planning and staff utilization, depending on business needs.

We Could Count on You With :

  • Owning the hiring journey :  Manage recruitment from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate experience.
  • Sourcing top talent :  Use online platforms, professional networks, and market intelligence tools to find and attract the best candidates.
  • Building relationships :  Foster long-term connections with candidates, industry groups, and community organizations to support ongoing talent pipelines.
  • Coaching hiring managers :  Guide and support managers through recruitment and onboarding, offering feedback and best practices.
  • Driving improvement :  Suggest new ideas and research emerging trends to enhance how we attract, hire, and onboard talent.
  • Supporting strategy :  Partner with our team to continuously improve our software tools and strategy to best support our talent acquisition process.
  • Tracking metrics :  Monitor and share data to support staffing decisions and capacity planning.
  • Contributing to HR projects :  Collaborate across teams to implement HR programs and support organizational needs beyond recruitment.

What Experience You’ll Bring :

  • 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to quickly establish trust and credibility
  • Understanding of business strategy and workforce drivers
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and Microsoft Office
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Construction industry experience is a plus
  • A passion for continuous improvement and candidate experience
