Division of Sidewalk & Inspection Management (SIM)
SIM manages over 12,750 miles of sidewalk and more than 185,000 corners citywide. The Pedestrian Ramp Program (PRP), within SIM, aims to provide accessible pedestrian (curb) ramps meeting legal standards, crucial for safe and accessible city travel, especially for seniors and persons with disabilities.

Candidates must be permanently in the Civil Engineer title, or eligible via the civil service exam #4030 or #0156, and eligible under the 55a program. Experience with roadway reconstruction, NYC infrastructure, and ADA standards is preferred. Excellent computer and communication skills are desired.
