Allergy And Immunization Clinic Manager
This position is responsible for overseeing the allergy and immunization clinic related to the clinical operations of the University Health Center. This position has assumed a variety of additional duties including clinic management, education and training and supervising associated staff and student workers.

In accordance with guidelines and protocols of the University Health Center, utilize nursing skills and knowledge to provide general nursing care that meets the needs of patients and health providers. Utilize knowledge of coding rules to accurately document care in the electronic medical record. Arrange acquisition of insurance pre-authorizations or pre-certifications when needed. This position is essential for health-related University emergencies.
Preferences
BSN, BA or training from an accredited nursing program, from a four-year college or university, or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Licensed with the Maryland State Board of Nurses. Comprehensive knowledge of patient assessment, education, treatments, and understanding related factors. 3 years of nursing practice experience.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use fine motor skills, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee may be required to lift and / or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, there is a risk of exposure to communicable diseases.
Licenses / Certifications
Maintain yearly renewal of Maryland State Board of Nursing licensure. Maintain CPR Certification. ACLS Certification Preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience : Three (3) years of professional health or medical-related program management experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :
