ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Franklin, North Carolina.

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

\n\n

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour shifts from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • Every other weekend minimum expectation required

    • \n

  • Patient ratios : Med Surg 6 : 1 (occasionally 7 : 1), ICU / Step Down 4 : 1

    • \n

  • Float to Emergency Department as needed

    • \n

  • Must have ICU or Step Down / Progressive Care experience

    • \n

  • At least 1 travel assignment prior required

    • \n

  • ICU experience preferred

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, NIHSS, BLS

    • \n

  • Use Cerner EMR system

    • \n

  • Navy blue scrubs required

    • \n

  • Typical procedures include thoracentesis, ventilator management, arterial lines, central lines, and dressing changes

    • \n

  • Staffing includes 4-5 RNs and 2-3 PCTs per shift

    • \n

  • Outgoing personality with strong teamwork skills preferred

    • \n

  • 30-bed unit serving both medical surgical and step-down / ICU patients

    This newly opened 30-bed critical access hospital features three operating rooms, dedicated endoscopy and radiology spaces, and a 17-bed emergency department with two trauma bays. The state-of-the-art facility provides spacious patient rooms and comprehensive outpatient services including wound clinic, laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and rehabilitation therapies. The facility has received recognition as an Acute Stroke Ready hospital and holds multiple awards for stroke and diabetes care excellence.
