Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring prior travel experience, a MD or compact RN license, and current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital settingDay shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (7 : 00 to 19 : 30)Patient ratio is 1 : 4Triage, IV starts, and phlebotomy requiredMust be able to orient and work as charge RNExpected to care for patients in a fast-paced setting with at least 125 ED visits per dayCerner EMR experience preferredMay come into contact with COVID patientsScrub color is purple and is not provided by the facilityCharge experience is preferred and orientation to charge duties is requiredModules must be completed pre-start and can take an average of 12 hoursLocal candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted at a lower rateMust not have worked at this health system in the past year to be eligibleRTO during the contract must not exceed 8 days and must allow for full completion of contracted hoursThree or more absences during a 13-week contract can result in termination\n \n Requirements\n
