Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 30 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 34 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel Assignment) Facility : CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center Location : Ronceverte, WV 24970 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Requirements : Minimum Experience : 2 years ICU RN experience License : WV RN license or Compact License (pending acceptable) Certifications (AHA only) : BLS ACLS Flu Vaccine : Required for October–March flu season (no declinations accepted) Travel Distance Requirement : Must reside 75 miles from facility (100 miles preferred) References : Minimum of 2 recent Manager or Charge Nurse references required Modules : Must complete pre-start modules (~8 hours, non-billable) as part of 16-hour orientation Clock In / Out : Mandatory for payment JOB Responsibilities : Provide direct care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including monitoring vitals, administering medications, and managing ventilators and other life-support systems. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and evaluate patient care plans. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions. Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner (preferred). Adhere to facility infection control protocols and safety standards. Participate in shift handoffs, emergency situations, and code responses. Float to other units as needed (if required by facility). Maintain professional standards of practice and comply with all licensing requirements.
