Director of Cabling - Low Voltage Director - Low Voltage Cabling

Position Overview

The Director of Low Voltage Cabling will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of low voltage cabling systems in data centers and enterprise environments. This role is crucial in ensuring that all cabling infrastructure meets the highest standards of performance, reliability, and safety, supporting the operational requirements of hyperscale data centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of structured cabling systems for data centers and enterprise environments.
• Manage all aspects of low voltage cabling projects, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop comprehensive data center infrastructure strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, including RCDD and BICSI certifications.
• Conduct site assessments and audits to evaluate existing cabling infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including CAD drawings, specifications, and installation guidelines.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams during installation and troubleshooting phases.
• Oversee vendor management and coordinate with subcontractors for cabling installations.
