Rad Tech II

Pay Range : $49.00-67.89

JOB SUMMARY :

The radiologic technologist is responsible, under the supervision of a radiologist, for performing screening, diagnostic and / or therapeutic imaging procedures as required in the modalities where the employee is registered and / or licensed. These procedures are to be performed in accordance with department and hospital protocols and policies. The radiologic Technologists must perform the procedures competently and, and where applicable, independently as the procedures may be performed under personal, direct, or general supervision. This position will include tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and tissues . This position may require day, evening, night shift hours and availability for on-call coverage.

JOB RELATIONSHIPS :

• Directly responsible to Diagnostic Imaging Manager
• Works closely with Medical Staff, including but not limited to, Radiologists, Hospitalists, and ER physicians
• Works closely with hospital district leadership and departments as well as internal and external customers.

Qualifications : Required :

California State Radiologic Technologists License

Registered in CT

Preferred :

Rad Tech III

Pay Range : $53.90-74.66

These procedures are to be performed in accordance with department and hospital protocols and policies. The radiologic Technologists must perform the procedures competently and, where applicable, independently as the procedures may be performed under personal, direct, or general supervision. This position functions as a senior level position and has responsibility to train employees in areas where the employee is registered or licensed. Employee will be responsible for assisting the modalities for which they are registered or licensed to successful accreditation by the American College of Radiology, The Joint Commission, or any other accrediting body for which accreditation is sought by the department. This position will include tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and tissues . This position may require day, evening, night shift hours and availability for on-call coverage.
