Join a passionate hospitality team where every person is important and collectively we do great things. This role supports the Director of Sales & Marketing in managing and executing group sales operations, focusing on designated market segments and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in managing group sales operations.
- Solicit and manage business from designated market segments.
- Qualify group leads based on room-to-space ratio, pattern placement, and event history.
- Establish food, beverage, and rental minimums.
- Conduct outside sales calls, site inspections, and client entertainment.
- Develop and present customized proposals and contracts.
- Analyze group history to inform future bookings.
- Negotiate contracts to protect hotel interests.
- Lead engaging site inspections for prospective clients.
- Attend Sales, Revenue, and related meetings.
- Inspire team members through positive leadership.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience in a full-service or convention hotel preferred.2 years recent sales experience in the San Antonio marketExperience with Delphi FDC preferred.Compensation & Benefits
