Senior LItigation Attorney

AV Rated, dynamic, mid-sized, trial litigation and insurance defense firm seeks an experienced, self-motivated attorney. An ideal candidate will have several years of civil litigation and / or insurance defense and trial experience. Exceptional writing, analytical skills, attention to detail, and professionalism are mandatory characteristics of a qualified candidate for this position. Successful candidates will be responsible for all aspects of assigned cases including, but not limited to, communication with clients, opposing counsel, and experts; drafting, reviewing, and revising pleadings, correspondence, and discovery; and preparing for and attending hearings, settlement conferences, mediation, and trials.

Duties

• Represent clients in litigation matters across multiple areas of law, ensuring effective advocacy and case management.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and prepare for trials.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements with precision.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while maintaining a focus on their best interests.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff in the firm to develop comprehensive case strategies.
• Stay current on relevant laws and regulations affecting various practice areas to provide informed legal counsel.
• Manage client relationships by maintaining clear communication regarding case progress and developments.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and support staff within the firm.
