Job Summary – Director of Transplant Services

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Transplant Services to lead and advance the effectiveness of transplant and peritoneal dialysis operations across . This leadership role will play a key part in shaping program priorities and enhancing clinical outcomes through cross-functional collaboration, operational efficiency, and alignment with national standards and innovative care models.
As Director, you will work closely with the Program Medical Director, clinical and administrative leadership, and community partners to establish a robust framework for transplant and dialysis services. This includes building infrastructure, driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities :
Program Leadership :
Lead the development, integration, and evaluation of transplant and peritoneal dialysis services. Ensure alignment with facility
Operational Excellence :
Direct the day-to-day operations in partnership with the Program Medical Director, optimizing workflows, standardizing processes, and enhancing access to care.
Strategic Collaboration :
Engage executive leadership, providers, staff, and community stakeholders to implement initiatives that reduce care variation, improve coordination, and support seamless patient experiences.
Quality and Accreditation :
Ensure programs maintain accreditation and meet regulatory and quality standards through continuous evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.
Community Engagement and Outreach :
Develop patient education and community outreach programs that strengthen disease management and resource access for patients and families.
Staff and Resource Management :
Supervise and develop staff, manage fiscal resources including budgets and grants, and promote a culture of accountability and high performance.
Innovation and Best Practices :
Promote adoption of evidence-based interventions, participate in national initiatives, and ensure the program is responsive to evolving health care models such as value-based care.
Required Qualifications :
Education :
Master’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field – Required.
Experience :
8+ years of professional experience in Transplant Services and Peritoneal Dialysis operations – Required.
