SUMMARY :

We're looking for a detail-driven, client-focused Mortgage Account Manager to own the pipeline experience from submission through closing for our Third-Party Origination (TPO) channel. You'll partner with Account Executives to support Mortgage Broker and Non-Delegated Correspondent clients, ensuring every loan moves efficiently, compliantly, and with the highest level of service.

You'll be the go-to contact for brokers, borrowers, and internal partners, driving loan progress, anticipating issues, and delivering a white-glove client experience. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • Own the pipeline : Manage 50+ active loan files per month from application through funding, tracking every milestone and ensuring timely movement through the loan lifecycle.
  • Be the loan-level point of contact : Serve as the primary liaison for brokers, clients, and internal teams (Sales, Underwriting, Disclosures, Docs, and Funding) to ensure clear, proactive communication.
  • Drive file readiness : Review submissions for completeness and accuracy, coordinating with all relevant parties to obtain outstanding documentation and satisfy all conditions.
  • Keep the process on track : Monitor and update key loan milestones within the LOS, maintaining accurate, real-time status visibility for all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across departments : Partner with Underwriting, Operations, and Funding to clear conditions, prevent bottlenecks, and ensure on-time closings.
  • Solve problems before they happen : Identify issues or discrepancies early, act decisively to resolve them, and communicate solutions quickly to avoid delays.
  • Educate and empower clients : Provide guidance on loan programs, documentation requirements, and process best practices to help brokers and borrowers succeed.
  • Stay current : Maintain up-to-date knowledge of guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Deliver measurable results : Consistently meet or exceed pipeline productivity, turn-time, and service-level expectations.
  • Contribute to improvement : Share feedback and ideas with management to enhance workflows, client experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • High School diploma, required.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, preferred.
  • Mortgage expertise : Solid understanding of mortgage lending fundamentals, including loan programs, guidelines, and documentation standards.
  • TPO experience : Familiarity with wholesale or correspondent lending strongly preferred.
  • Operational excellence : Proven ability to manage multiple files, deadlines, and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Client-service mindset : Committed to responsiveness, professionalism, and relationship management.
  • Strong communicator : Skilled in translating complex information into clear, actionable updates for clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive problem-solver : Anticipates issues, finds solutions fast, and helps others stay ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborative energy : Works seamlessly with Account Executives and internal teams to ensure mutual success.
