Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find an Inside Sales Representative for a well-established distribution company located in South Austin. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, growing accounts, and supporting sales efforts within the aerospace, military, and electromechanical markets. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is driven, professional, and passionate about providing outstanding customer service and exceeding sales goals.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for :
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers in the aerospace and military sectors
Processing customer orders and providing quotes accurately and efficiently
Selling electromechanical components and other distributed products
Working closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver excellent service
Collaborating with the Purchasing Manager to monitor inventory levels and product availability
Keeping thorough sales records, administering incentive programs, and distributing key sales data
Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and prospect new clients
What you’ll need :
2+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in commercial distribution
Experience with electromechanical parts, aerospace, or military markets strongly preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting sales targets
Perks :
Base salary of $50,000–$60,000 per year + commission
