Position Overview

To support our growing business, Sheffield Supply & Equipment is seeking to hire an Outside Sales Account Manager who will develop business for both our rental and sales channels in the construction and industrial markets. The Outside Sales Account Manager will support the Sheffield team by leveraging excellent communication and organizational skills. Successful Sales Representatives will demonstrate an upbeat attitude and provide innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our expanding customer base.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Develop sales business opportunities
  • Identify and establish contact with potential customers
  • Schedule and perform product demonstrations for customers
  • Collaboration with internal Product Specialists and Calibration Technicians
  • Present solutions to customers and assist in product selection
  • Prepare and deliver customer quotes
  • Develop and grow customer relationships through regular meetings and follow-ups
  • Participate in product and manufacturer training
  • Work with vendors to provide the best solutions for customers
  • Manage key customer relationships
  • Submit weekly sales call reports to management
  • Utilize company-provided CRM system
  • Coordinate with internal inside sales team and warehouse manager
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

  • 3–5 years of Sales Experience
  • Proven ability to maintain and grow customer relationships
  • Willingness to travel (minimal) and maintain a flexible schedule
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and iOS applications
