Assistant Project Manager
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our project team throughout all phases of our projects, including bidding, execution, and closure. Depending on the project's size and complexity, the Assistant Project Manager may also lead certain projects.
Responsibilities
- Administer and track submittals, RFIs, issue logs, and other project management tools.
- Write and distribute meeting minutes for OAC / Subcontractor meetings.
- Create and process change orders for owners and subcontractors after reviewing with the Project Manager.
- Ensure subcontractor submittals comply with contract documents and subcontract agreements.
- Assist the project team in all aspects of construction administration and coordination.
- Ensure and confirm trade scopes of work are clear and accurate.
- Prepare documents for regular project team meetings.
- Oversee project close-out to ensure all client obligations are delivered in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized project files in the company network.
- Assist in estimating and preparing bid documents.
Essential Skills
Experience in project management and construction management.Proficiency in handling change orders.Experience with submittals, RFIs, and project tracking.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, and Bluebeam.Understanding of the construction life cycle and scheduling meetings.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in administering and tracking project management tools.Capability to write and distribute detailed meeting minutes.Ability to oversee project close-out effectively.Work Environment
The Assistant Project Manager will work with the special projects team and will be required to be in the office every day. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
