Senior Platform Engineer, Workday (Workday Studio)

We are seeking Platform Engineers who are passionate about developing highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support the Human Resource technology driving Capital One. As part of a team thats leading the next wave of disruption on a whole new scale, you will play an integral part in advancing Capital Ones Human Resource Technology ecosystem and culture of technical excellence. You will champion automation of functional and technical processes and bring your expertise to drive innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
• Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business
• Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
• Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results
• Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities
• Build and maintain thorough documentation for system implementation
• Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective
• Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues

Compensation & Location

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated. Salaries are for Senior Platform Engineer roles and may vary by location.

Cambridge, MA : $127,500 - $145,500

Chicago, IL : $115,900 - $132,200

McLean, VA : $127,500 - $145,500

New York, NY : $139,100 - $158,700

Plano, TX : $115,900 - $132,200

Richmond, VA : $115,900 - $132,200

San Francisco, CA : $139,100 - $158,700

San Jose, CA : $139,100 - $158,700

Wilmington, DE : $115,900 - $132,200

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual salary will be in the offer letter.

This role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which could include cash bonuses and / or long-term incentives.
