Position Summary
The Claims Intake Representative will support multiple adjusting teams by completing activities / tasks related to accurately identifying, triaging and setting up incoming First Notice of Loss's across all Arch business lines.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day activities of a Claims Intake Representative include but are not limited to : accurate and timely setup / routing of incoming FNOLs, preparation and routing of acknowledgement letters, merging of files, procurement of binders and / or policies and setup of oversight files.
- Manages individual workflow, productivity and quality to meet and exceed team / individual goals and service level agreements.
- Communicates changes in processes, aiding in the creation and maintenance of job aids to ensure consistency / accuracy in workflows.
- Continuously seeks ways to improve efficiency in managing the daily workload, demonstrating a strong, team-focused mindset.
- Displays flexibility and adaptability in team settings.
- Primary responsibility for addressing Intake related questions and appropriate routing of escalations to Management to include but not limited to, delayed policy availability within claims systems, policy / insured identification / routing, and rush requests.
- Practices professional communication and collaborates with other units / departments within Arch to ensure a World Class Customer experience.
- Engages and Participates in the Arch Experience values and continuous improvement initiatives
- Works closely with other Omaha Office team members to harbor a culture of collaboration, integrity, inclusivity and positivity.
- Other Administrative duties as assigned by Claims Intake Supervisor.
- This position will work 2 days from the Omaha office and work from home 3 days per week. Additional work in the office to be completed as required by Management.
