Location : Cary, NC
Hours : M-F, 8am to 5pm
Salary : $80-$90 / k depending on experience
MUST have a GI or Endoscopy background.
General Duties / Responsibilities :
- Participate in the hiring, supervision, and evaluation of assigned staff.
- Schedule staffing to meet changing workload needs.
- Provide professional and technical support to staff and troubleshoot identified issues.
- Assist in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with standards, laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Evaluate the performance and productivity of nursing staff on a timely and regular basis throughout the year and annually and advise on appropriate corrective actions and development opportunities.
- Keep lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and productive workforce.
- Supervise clinical personnel, assigning work duties, monitoring performance on a daily basis, and assuring that office procedures are followed.
- Oversee the cross training of staff to provide coverage at all times.
- Review and use clinical and medical records to determine health care patterns and assignment of appropriate resources.
- Ensure the team is practicing patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal / state laws and regulations.
- Obtain, verify, and record health history of patients, gathering pertinent health data.
- Educate patients and families about procedures.
- Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and confidentiality policies.
- Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, and communicating physician advice / instructions.
Requirements :
