Job Description
This role is categorized as hybrid, requiring the successful candidate to report to the office at least three times per week.

The Mainframe Systems Database Systems Programmer will collaborate with various teams to deploy, manage, and support mainframe databases worldwide. Responsibilities include working with database vendors, infrastructure groups, DBAs, and application teams to install, monitor, manage, and upgrade databases such as Db2 and IMS. The individual will optimize performance, manage capacity, schedule tasks, resolve production issues, and implement monitoring and automation solutions to ensure high availability of GM's mainframe database platforms.
