This role is pivotal in providing mental health services to inmates, ensuring their well-being and rehabilitation. Gain unparalleled experience in a unique environment with a competitive compensation package.\n\nQualifications : \n\n - Proficiency in English, both oral and written, is mandatory for effective communication and patient care.\n\nResponsibilities : \n - Deliver mental health services under the guidance of the Senior Psychologist or Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker.\n- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage psychiatric disorders, ensuring the formulation of effective treatment plans.\n- Participate in crisis interventions, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews, potentially at cell fronts.\n- Document all care provided, including participation in Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IOTT) meetings.\n- Perform mental status exams and review pertinent documents to aid in diagnosis.\n- Facilitate patient transitions within the institution and assist with their pre-release, ensuring their connection to external mental health programs.\n- Maintain safety and security, ensuring proper conduct of inmates to prevent any harm.\n
