Position Overview :
We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pastry Prep Cook to join our morning team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, precision, and a love for pastry fundamentals. The position involves early morning production and prep for service, assisting with components for plated desserts, bread service, and specialty items.
Responsibilities :
Execute daily pastry prep according to recipes and production lists
Scale, mix, and bake pastries, breads, and other components with consistency and accuracy
Maintain clean and organized workstations, following all food safety and sanitation standards
Support the pastry team in executing service elements and special events
Assist with receiving, labeling, and proper storage of ingredients
Communicate effectively with BOH leadership and team members
Qualifications :
2-3+ year of pastry or bakery experience preferred (but not required for the right candidate)
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
Comfortable with early morning hours and standing for extended periods
Positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn
Schedule & Compensation :
A.M. shifts
Part-time or full-time availability
