Registered Nurse ICU PRN Nights

Join our dedicated team and start each day with the excitement of making a meaningful difference in patient care!\n\nAs a Level II Competent Registered Nurse, you will be crucial in providing exceptional care for patients in the ICU. We are seeking RNs who can collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, enhance the quality of care, and integrate evidence-based practices into their nursing duties.\n\nKey Responsibilities for Level II Registered Nurses : \n

• Lead and coordinate nursing care, offering guidance to both licensed and unlicensed personnel while utilizing the nursing process and teamwork to achieve optimal patient outcomes.\n
• Engage patients, families, and healthcare team members in the care process, emphasizing education and discharge planning.\n
• Ensure clear communication regarding the care plan and other essential information among healthcare team members.\n
• Support leadership in establishing excellence standards for patient care and actively participate in enhancing patient service delivery.\n
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and participate in quality enhancement activities.\n
• Guide the onboarding process for new staff members, offering support and training.\n
• Serve as a resource for hospital and departmental policies, providing guidance to nurses and healthcare team members.\n
• Involve in daily activities to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.\n
• Provide insights to Nurse Managers regarding unit needs and improvements.\n
• Join committees to influence the development of nursing and hospital policies.\n
• Carry out additional duties as required.\n\nQualifications : \n
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.\n
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse.\n
• Current RN License from Virginia or a reciprocal compact state is required.\n
• BSN preferred.\n
• AHA BLS Provider CPR certification required at hire.\n
• AHA ACLS Provider certification required within 90 days.\n
