Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, inclusive creative arts programming to patients, families, and hospital staff
- Use art to support emotional well‑being, communication, and expression in diverse clinical environments
- Build rapport with individuals from varied backgrounds, ages, and abilities
- Adapt artistic interactions based on the patient’s mood, condition, environment, and energy
- Collaborate as a valued member of the interdisciplinary care team
- Demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and creative problem‑solving in all patient interactions
Qualifications
Experience Requirements
At least one year of experience working in a healthcare setting or equivalent understanding of clinical environmentsEducational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a creative arts field (e.g., visual arts, music, theater, writing)OR
Demonstrated professional experience as a practicing artistSpecial Skills & Requirements
