• Midlevels also provide rounding coverage at hospitals. Duties include : conduct physical exams; assesses health status; place orders; interprets tests; prescribes medications; consult with physicians as needed and refer to physicians for more complicated medical cases, or cases that are not part of the midlevel’s scope of work; monitor therapies to provide continuity of care; triage patient calls to evaluate patient’s problems; counsels patient / family on preventive health care; document patient information and care in medical record
• ERCP and EUS training & experience strongly preferred
