Medical Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced oncology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for rooming patients, recording vital signs, and ensuring the smooth operation of the treatment rooms. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and ensure they are prepared for examinations.
• Record patient vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes accurately.
• Stock and maintain exam and treatment rooms, ensuring they are well-supplied.
• Assist in ordering necessary medical supplies.

Work Environment

The work hours are from 8 : 15 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts. The Medical Assistant will work in a dynamic and fast-paced oncology clinic, providing vital support to healthcare providers. This role involves general front-end duties without being tied to a specific provider. Employees enjoy a supportive culture with team-building activities and holiday celebrations. Benefits include accumulating 5 hours of PTO per pay period, a 401K with a 3% match, and options for two different insurance plans. Reimbursement is available if travel outside of assigned clinics is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tomball, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
