The Carriages of Rivergate is growing our TEAM and we are looking for people who have a passion for serving older adults. We are seeking a hard-working, dedicated Business Office Manager who is detail oriented and enjoys working with people.

This position is responsible for answering the phone, directing calls to the appropriate department manager, assist with employee timecards for payroll, department manager with on-boarding new hires, opening mail and sending payables to home office support team. Your day will be filled with a variety of entry level office duties, in an environment that is highly engaging with residents, families and employees.

Possess strong computer skills. Is organized and completes work timely and accurately, highly dependable and keeps workspace clean.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills. Adequate and clear English speaking and writing ability.

Displays mature behavior and attitude in speech and action.

Interacts in professional manner with Residents, public and co-workers. Works cooperatively with management. Displays willingness to assist co-workers when situation requires.

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.

Able to work collectively with the Executive Director.

Willingness to cross-train with other community positions.

Ability to maintain strict resident and operational confidentiality.

Displays cleanliness, good grooming, personal appearance and follows dress requirements consistently.

Maintains acceptable attendance record / follows work schedule.

Ability / willingness to follow all policies and procedures.

Ability to do occasional heavy lifting (up to 50lbs.), 30 lbs. regularly.

Is free of non-treated communicate disease.

A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly is a must. If you love to work with seniors and your community, we would love to meet you!

This job requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year experience in clerical work. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.
