Job Title : Production Support Specialist
Onsite in Columbia
W2 Only
Job Summary :
Provides system and production support for healthcare-related applications, focusing on installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Collaborates with internal teams and industry partners to ensure system performance, stability, and compliance with interoperability standards.
Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, administer, and tune healthcare EDI and interoperability products in production environments
- Monitor real-time system performance and batch processes, analyze abnormal results, and initiate corrective actions
- Perform system backups, testing, and environment verification for production and test systems
- Participate in implementation meetings, quality assurance sessions, and disaster recovery exercises
- Identify process improvements and develop automation solutions for release and deployment procedures
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders on standard development, proof of concepts, and system upgrades
Core Skills (Must-Haves) :
Healthcare EDI and Interoperability standards (HL7 X12, FHIR)Linux / Unix systems for installing and configuring EDI productsScripting languages : PowerShell, Windows Batch, Linux Shell scripting, PythonExperience with Agile / Scrum project management methodologiesManaging and remediating security findings in healthcare IT environmentsExperience installing and maintaining healthcare EDI COTS productsFamiliarity with AWS Cloud services for healthcare applicationsAbility to work onsite and obtain CMS security clearanceFoundational Skills (Expected) :
Understanding of healthcare data standards and industry workflow processesStrong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and requirements gatheringBonus Skills (Nice-to-Haves) :
Specific experience with FHIR interoperability standards developmentProduct ownership and customization of healthcare EDI COTS solutions in healthcare industryExperience working with industry partners on EDI standard development and proof of concept deliverySoft Skills :
