Locum Physician (MD / DO) - Internal Medicine - General / Other in Florida

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician for an 18-day locum tenens assignment in Florida starting Oct 6, 2025. This opportunity involves outpatient general practice, managing new and existing patients with conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, and offers a flexible weekday schedule with shifts between 9am and 6pm. Job Details Location : Florida Start Date : Oct 6, 2025 LOA : 18 days Provider Type Needed : Internal Medicine Physician Schedule : Either Monday and Thursday 10am-5pm or 10am-6pm, or Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 10am-5pm or 10am-6pm. Provider may open the office at 9am, though patients begin at 10am. Responsibilities and Duties Provide outpatient general practice care to adult patients Conduct comprehensive and routine exams, including full and women's health (routine GYN) exams Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension Perform minor procedures including suturing, casting, incisions, drainages, and biopsies Conduct EKGs as needed (EKG equipment available onsite) Accept and evaluate new patients Additional Information Must have Florida medical license Required board certifications : Family Medicine or Internal Medicine DEA certification required Residency training in Internal Medicine required Must be comfortable with outpatient adult care and minor office procedures Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
