About The Position

Job Title : LDRP Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : Labor and Delivery

Duration : 26 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 2 years with at least 1 year in the specialty

License : Must have MO or Compact licensure

Certifications : CPI Blue Card required for all Behavioral Health RNs and LCSW

Must-Have :

• Experience in Level II nursery and OR scrub preferred but not required
• Two references from a charge nurse or above required

Description :

Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.

Monitor maternal and fetal well-being.

Assist with deliveries and cesarean sections.

Administer medications and manage pain.

Provide immediate newborn care.

Educate and support families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, compassionate, and family-centered care.

Floating to any area as a Patient Observer (sitter) is required.

Complete modules during orientation and annually, as needed.
