Description :
We’re supporting a long-term aerospace manufacturing partner that’s expanding its quality team with a newly created CMM Programming Quality Engineer position . This is a great opportunity to join a stable, growing organization that values precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
The top priority for this role is strong, recent CMM programming experience —ideally using PC-DMIS and / or MCOSMOS for complex machined aerospace components.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and edit CMM programs using PC-DMIS and MCOSMOS to inspect precision machined components.Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to define accurate and efficient inspection strategies.Select and apply appropriate fixturing, tooling, and setups to ensure repeatable and precise measurements.Conduct FAI, PPAP, and inspection documentation in compliance with customer and industry standards.Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Gage R&R to validate measurement systems.Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality teams to identify and resolve quality issues.Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management standards.Maintain detailed control plans and inspection plans supporting process control and product quality.Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on CMM programming experience (PC-DMIS and / or MCOSMOS required).Strong knowledge of GD&T , blueprint interpretation, and advanced inspection methodologies.Prior experience as a Quality Engineer or Supplier Quality Engineer in aerospace or precision machining.Working familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 systems and documentation.Experience with FAI, PPAP , and supplier quality processes.Skilled in Minitab, SPC , or similar statistical tools for data analysis.Associate degree in Engineering or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred .U.S. citizenship required.Why Join
