The new Macon MAC.BID will be conducting a hiring event on Tuesday, September 16th from 10 : 00am to 2 : 00pm at the location, 4649 Presidential Pkwy, Suite C26, Macon, GA 31206. We look forward to seeing you there!

    JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION : Full Time Hourly Non-Exempt

    JOB OVERVIEW :

    MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns, and overstock products then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
  • Greet and assist customers in finding their items
  • Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management
  • Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups

    • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Must be available to work onsite Sunday-Saturday for 8 hours with a half-hour lunch break with 2 days off, hours to be determined by workload and General Manager
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
  • Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
  • Must be highly organized
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be customer-focused
