Market Research Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Market Research Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our organization. This role is responsible for gathering and interpreting market data, identifying trends, and delivering actionable insights to inform marketing, product development, and business strategy. The ideal candidate has strong research skills, a passion for understanding consumer behavior, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary research to assess market conditions, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.
- Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing findings for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to align insights with business goals.
- Monitor industry developments and track competitor activities to inform go-to-market strategies.
- Design and manage surveys, focus groups, and other research studies.
- Interpret statistical data using tools such as Excel, SPSS, or other analytics software.
- Support forecasting and business planning with data-driven insights.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.25 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or business intelligence.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics).Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable way.Knowledge of research methodologies, data collection techniques, and statistical analysis.Nice to Have
Experience with survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey).Background in consumer insights or competitive intelligence.Familiarity with SQL or Python for data analysis.Experience in a specific industry (e.g., technology, healthcare, retail, financial services).
