Job Summary – Interventional Radiology RN (Southern Illinois Healthcare)

\n

\n- Full-time, 4x10 hour shifts (Days : Monday-Friday, 8am-6 : 30pm), with on-call as required

\n- New contract position (not an extension) in Interventional Radiology

\n- Assess patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs prior to procedures

\n- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with multidisciplinary team

\n- Provide patient and family education, explanations, and instructions regarding procedures and care

\n- Proficient in administering moderate sedation and monitoring patient response

\n- Use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions

\n- Maintain accurate and complete medical records

\n- Manage conflicts and contribute to a positive, healthy workplace environment using professional communication

\n- Ensure compliance with Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care

\n- Participate in ongoing continuing education and professional development

\n- Required Certifications / Licensure : Current Illinois RN license, BLS / CPR, and ACLS

\n- Experience in a similar acute care or procedural setting (preferred)
