Neonatal Medicine Physician Locums Job in Mississippi Scheduled Clinic Hours Plus Call Starting 11 / 24 Through 12 / 1 Assignment Coverage Needed : 10 / 24 - 10 / 27 11 / 24 - 12 / 1 Shift Description : Scheduled clinic hours plus call (beeper) Requirements : Board certified and Fellowship Must be licensed in Mississippi or IMLC PALS certification Call Response Time Required : 15 minutes Procedures : Non-Invasive Ventilation Management (neo-puff) Newborn Ventilation Management (Acute and Chronic) Intubation (ETT / NT) Pediatric Ventilation Management (Acute and Chronic) UVC, UAC, and Hemodialysis catheter placement Chest tube insertion Needle pneumothorax Decompression X-ray and EKG interpretation Suturing minor lacerations Exchange transfusions Evaluation & Management of acute volume / BP issues Insertion of Central Line, Arterial Line and PA catheter Diagnostic / Therapeutic taps : Lumbar puncture Paracentesis Thoracentesis Attend High-Risk C-Sections Assignment Details : EMR : Cerner Admissions (about 1 per 24 hours) and rounding Nursery Level III / NICU Patients per shift : 3-5 Phone consults : 4 Beds in department : 10 Support staff : 2 RNs and 1 MA Callback Percentage : 10% Estimated credentialing timeframe : 14 days Jackson and Coker offers : Weekly Direct Deposit Top Rated Malpractice Insurance In-House Travel Agency 24 / 7 Recruiter Availability Experienced In-House Privileging Coordinators Experience why Jackson and Coker has been recognized by Forbes and Staffing Industry Analysts for our commitment to service excellence.
