Chemours is seeking a Vice President of Tax to join our Finance team. This position will be available at Wilmington, DE a nd report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

The Vice President of Tax, is a strategic leader responsible for Chemours’ global tax strategy, compliance, and planning. This role ensures the company remains compliant with all tax regulations, optimizes its tax position, and supports sustainable business growth. The VP of Tax is a critical member of the Finance Leadership Team (FLT) who provides expert guidance on tax matters and drive value for Chemours.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute Chemours’ global tax strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Lead internal and external teams to ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax compliance for federal, state, local, and international jurisdictions.
• Manage relationships with external advisors, government agencies, and auditors.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess impacts on the company, proactively recommending actions.
• Provide strategic tax advice to the Chemours Executive Team (CET), Board of Directors and the related Committees.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Tax team, fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure robust internal controls over tax processes and reporting.
• Drive automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Oversee tax planning initiatives, including mergers & acquisitions, restructurings, and cross-border activities.
• Develop and manage the tax department budget.

$227,837.00 - $355,995.00
