Job Title : Analytics Developer
Job Summary : The SQL Server Developer is responsible for developing applications and integrations using the Microsoft SQL Server platform, while also providing technical and production support. This role involves business intelligence, data analysis, reporting, requirements gathering, testing, monitoring, and implementing solutions through a structured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
- Analytics & Support (5 years) Provide analytics support to Health Systems, Finance, and the Analytics Division. Participate in meetings with project managers, team leads, analysts, and other agency staff.
- Report & ETL Development (3 years) Build and maintain ETL packages using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Application Development (3 years) Lead development and implementation of software related to budgeting, STARRS, and other accounting systems.
- SQL Development (8 years) Write accurate SQL code for quality measures with a strong understanding of various databases. Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views. Create scripts to build new database objects and deploy SQL patches.
- Database Management (3 years) Assist with schema design, code reviews, and SQL query optimization. Support application schema upgrades and data improvements.
- Power BI Reporting (3 years) Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and Power BI.Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.Experience with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred experience in health care, Medicaid, or health insurance.Skills
