Security Professional - Logistics Screener Patrol

As a Security Professional - Logistics Screener Patrol in South Windsor, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Screener with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all personnel. Your presence and attention to detail will support the smooth flow of operations, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will reflect our core values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Pay Rate : $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Tue 12 : 00 AM - 10 : 00 AM

Wed 12 : 00 AM - 10 : 00 AM

Thur 12 : 00 AM - 10 : 00 AM

Fri 12 : 00 AM - 10 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Screen individuals and / or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location, following established protocols to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and monitor for unusual activity.
  • Maintain accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and / or delivery personnel, providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security-related concerns and support overall site operations.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
