Position Overview

Responsibilities

You will lead and consult on large projects, working hands-on with various technologies in controls and automation, particularly in regulated environments such as Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences. Your tasks may include :

Programming and installing PLCs (Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix)
Programming and installing HMIs / SCADA systems (Allen-Bradley PanelView, Wonderware InTouch, ArchestrA)
Working with VFDs (Allen-Bradley PowerFlex, Armorstart, Danfoss)
Networking (Ethernet / IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet)
Automation system design, testing, startup, and documentation
Project management and technical leadership
Calibration, troubleshooting, and system improvements
Data structure and flow modeling

This role requires flexibility, hands-on involvement, and travel. Candidates must not require sponsorship now or in the future.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields

8+ years of experience as a Controls or Automation Engineer

Experience in regulated environments with GMP

Experience with batch processing (S88 standards) preferred

Proficiency in PLC programming (RSLogix, Siemens TIA Portal, etc.)

Experience with HMI development and networking

VFDs experience
