About The Position

Certifications : ACLS and BLS required; CPI and NIHSS preferred

Must-Have :

• 2 years of critical care or telemetry experience
• Charting experience with Cerner preferred
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates will not be considered
• Medical or religious exemptions required for COVID-19 and flu vaccines

Description :

Position available for a Telemetry Registered Nurse.

The schedule consists of three 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM.

There is no call requirement for this position.

Weekend work is required every third weekend.

Floating within the hospital may be necessary.

Rotational holiday coverage is also mandatory.

The patient ratio is approximately 4-5 patients per nurse.

Candidates with prior charge experience are preferred.

Experience in a community hospital, LTAC, or trauma level facilities is desirable.

A mix of patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, will be cared for in this unit.

Daily census and patient diagnoses may fluctuate.

The role requires extensive skills in telemetry and critical care nursing.

Candidates must have the ability to manage a variety of clinical scenarios, including cardiac telemetry and various procedures.

Preferred skills include the administration of blood products, management of arterial lines, and familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems.

Travelers must complete up to 8 hours of modules prior to starting.

The assignment is considered sensitive, and professional conduct is expected at all times.

Any unprofessional behavior or missed shifts could result in contract termination.
