MS certifications on MSSQL latest versions or AWS / Azure
- At least 5+ years of SQL DBA experience covering implementation, production support and project work. At least 4+ years of exposure as L3 / SME support role.
- Knowledge and Understanding of ITIL process
- In client facing role(s) for at least 3 years.
- On call support for at least 3 years.
- Excellent Documentation skills in MS SharePoint 2010 / 2013, Confluence.
- Knowledge on AWS Cloud services like RDS, S3, Redshift etc.
- MySQL / PostgresSQL knowledge / experience.
- Linux Knowledge.
- Experience with Azure.
- Experience with Snow Flake.
- Experience in PowerBI.
Responsibilities
Ability to think about a problem, identify what we have and implement solutions to solve the problem independently.Work with onsite client team / Application owners in US / UK to Migrate Applications, Database building and Decommissioning.Ability to take lead on some projects and works as part of a team (follow another leader on others).Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to think in and out of the box. Come up with service improvement ideas and innovative solutions.Self-motivated, conscientious, dedicated individual who works equally well independently or as a member of a team.Must be willing to take responsibility and ownership instead of waiting to be assigned work.The candidate must be willing to provide on-call and weekend support for SQL and MYSQL, the support is rotated among DBA's in US and India.Enable and support the team in resolving day-to-day production issues, application upgrades and patches, performance analysis, disaster recovery implementation, capacity planning and other activities as may be necessary.Work on Change implementations during UK, US business hours & weekends as per change management process.Documentation & Operational performance reporting.Own Service Improvements.Execute on demand IT projects.Drive compliance to client and organization processes and policies.Ensure Quality of deliverables.The above is not a comprehensive list and could change based on business requirements.J-18808-Ljbffr
