VP Market Risk Audit

Lead and manage audits covering market risk management frameworks, limit structures, stress testing, VaR, and other risk methodologies.

Assess the effectiveness of controls around risk identification, measurement, monitoring, and reporting.

Evaluate governance processes and escalation mechanisms within the firm's risk management function.

Review risk models, methodologies, and validation processes for compliance with internal standards and regulatory guidance.

Partner with technology and operations audit teams to assess risk data, systems, and reporting infrastructure.

Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and quality assurance on audit work.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; advanced degree would be a plus.

7-10 years of experience in Internal Audit, Market Risk, or Capital Markets.

Deep knowledge of market risk concepts, including derivatives, fixed income, equities, foreign exchange, and structured products.
