OBGYN Physicians for Hospitalist and Outpatient Settings in Delaware

Bayhealth Medical Center is seeking to add OB Hospitalists and OB / Gyn Physicians for practice to our employed medical staff physicians with our medical group. Our women's services unit delivers an estimated 1,700 deliveries at Kent and 1,000 at Sussex annually. The number of deliveries has been continually increasing in recent years as the population in our service area expands. Hospitalists Flexible Schedule - 24 hour shifts available Inpatient responsibilities ONLY - with CNMs and a highly educated, well-trained nursing team 10 LDRs, 4 OB ED rooms(triage), 1 pre-op, 2 PACU beds, 2 ORs that are against the NICU, all on the same floor; 20 postpartum beds on the next floor up We staff our nursing compliment at A-1 perinatal guidelines set by ACOG ALWAYS have a pediatrician, and neonatal professional, and 24 / 7 in-house anesthesia coverage Outpatient OB / Gyn or GYN Physicians for Bayhealth : Outpatient Physicians - clinic and 3 hospital coverage shifts per month Delivery Locations are Bayhealth Medical Center Kent Campus, Dover, DE and / or Bayhealth Medical Center Sussex Campus, Milford, DE Outpatient Clinic - Dover outpatient practice will be in a newly renovated space within 7 minute drive to hospital campus for deliveries; Sussex outpatient clinic is located adjacent to the hospital. Milford outpatient practice is on the hospital campus in new facilities (new hospital opened in 2019, practice location in 2021) We are open to conversations about how you envision your practice.
