What you will do / Day in the Life :

The primary responsibilities of a Maintenance Worker include but are not limited to : general building maintenance, minor electrical repairs, repairing drywall, painting, paneling, wallpapering, sheetrock work, hanging doors, adjusting / changing locks and door hardware, fixing or replacing broken windows and screens, hanging pictures, minor plumbing repairs, unplugging drains, replacing leaky washers, re-lighting, replacing and adjusting heaters and controls, maintaining smoke detectors and emergency lights, maintaining swamp coolers / air conditioners and generators, replacing floor tiles, carpeting, wood flooring and / or linoleum repairs, repairing roofing, some grounds maintenance & irrigation repairs if needed, etc.

To be considered you should have Experience as a Maintenance Worker, be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect and have a high school diploma or equivalent. You must also be at least 21 years of age, have a desire to work with troubled teens and be able to pass a DCF criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
