job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork in a diagnostic radiology department within a hospital setting Responsible for conducting a variety of diagnostic X-ray procedures on a diverse patient population Day shifts, four 9-hour shifts per week Uses Epic EMR system Perform X-ray imaging according to physician specifications and radiologist protocols Operate and maintain X-ray equipment and related devices Educate, position, and immobilize patients for procedures while ensuring safety and comfort Prepare and administer contrast media following protocol Supervise and evaluate Student Radiographers in the clinical setting Practice sterile techniques and infection prevention policies Adhere to radiation safety measures (ALARA) for patients and staff Open and responsive communication with patients, coworkers, and leadership Active ARRT registration required CT certification required Current AHA BLS certification required At least 1 year of radiology technologist experience in the relevant specialty Must have an active license as applicable Experience with Epic charting preferred High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
