Collections Representative

A company is looking for a Collections Representative.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze payer denials and submit appeals

Contact patients and third-party payers to resolve outstanding insurance balances

Act as a liaison between clinical departments and management

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

2 years of experience in medical claims recovery and / or collections

Knowledge of billing and collections regulations

Experience in Medical Billing, Accounts Receivables, and / or Collections within a healthcare or insurance environment

Understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and insurance billing requirements
