Summary

Pay : From $17.50 per hour

Job description :

Sylvania Community Services is seeking a full-timeLead Preschool Teacherto join our expanding early learning team at our newMarshall Child Care Center!

In this leadership role, you’ll create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans using approved curriculum, support children’s social-emotional and academic development, and maintain compliance with state regulations and Step Up To Quality standards. You’ll also serve as a role model for professionalism, safety, and communication — working closely with families and fellow educators to provide a nurturing, engaging environment for preschool-aged children.

Duties

Position Details :

• Schedule : Monday thru Friday
• Ages Served : 3–5 years old
• Location : Marshall Child Care Center (5440 Marshall Road | Sylvania, OH)

Requirements

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED required

Must possess a CDA credential or higher

Must meet Step Up To Quality Level 2 Lead Teacher requirements

Experience with preschool-aged children (3–5 years), including children with special needs

Ability to maintain up-to-date certifications in First Aid, CPR, Child Abuse, Communicable Disease

Strong communication skills, physical ability to engage with young children (including lifting up to 50 lbs)
