Northrop Grumman Advanced Weapons has an opening for a Staff Test Architect with a current clearance, to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility in either Northridge, CA, Tucson, AZ or Linthicum, MD locations. As an integral part of our multi-discipline engineering team in Advanced Weapons, you will be the Test Architect for our SiAW Program. You will be working with the Chief Engineer and Test team to implement test strategies and find improvements for our current test process.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Development of the approach to complete the missile system lifecycle testing including : prototyping, design verification testing, environmental qualification testing, functional qualification testing, and acceptance testing
• Ownership of the development and qualification hardware utilization matrix, to include units under test, software configuration, special test equipment, and software for special test equipment
• Development of test requirements and constraints to ensure test resources are necessary and sufficient to meet program testing requirements.
• Establish test strategies and use cases to ensure in development that the system is designed correctly and in production the system is produced correctly.
• Developing and establishing test requirements and constraints across the product lifecycle.
• Oversight of the transition of Special Test Equipment from DVT to Qualification to Production
• Oversight of the development of test plans for sustainment at the depot and for fielded assets.

Primary Level Salary Range : $134,300.00 - $233,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
