Overview
The Supervisory, Biomedical Engineer (Clinical) supervises technical staff, including lower-level engineers, HTM technicians, and other HTM staff. They are the subject matter expert for the area of operations they supervise (e.g., Networking, Imaging, Project Management, Engineers, etc.). They serve as a consultant to the Chief, Healthcare Technology Management and are administratively under the Chief, Healthcare Technology Management at VA Connecticut Health Care System, West Haven, CT
Responsibilities
- Supervise technical staff including lower-level engineers, HTM technicians, and other HTM staff.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the area of operations they supervise (e.g., Networking, Imaging, Project Management, Engineers).
- Serve as a consultant to the Chief, Healthcare Technology Management.
- Remain administratively under the Chief, Healthcare Technology Management at VA Connecticut Health Care System, West Haven, CT.
